Who'd have expected a creature of the night hanging around a playground? Giannine mused, the heels of her boots clicking against the pavement as she walked over to the kiddie playground in Volterra Park. The silvery moon shone down upon her from its spot in the center of the sky, flanked by hundreds of stars, bright as flames but small as pinpricks.
Settling down on a swing, Gia kicked off a few times experimentally, careful to use human-like strength lest the swing be ripped from its hooks. Moments later, she was high in the air, giggling softly as the wind rushed through her air. For a few glorious minutes, Gia almost remembered what it was like to be human, but the feeling didn't last. Soon boredom washed over her, and she frowned. Human thrills meant little to her now, now that she could do anything a human could 10 times as fast.
Bored now, Gia wandered around the park until she found something quite interesting; a couple strolling down the path. She walked up to the cutesy pair and raised an eyebrow.
"A bit late for a stroll, isn't it?" she asked. The boy looked up at her and stopped, practically drooling at the sight of the supernatural woman. His partner glared at her, and tugged him away, scolding him when they believed to be out of her earshot. Gia chuckled softly. It was so easy to mess with mortals, particularly couples. She walked back to the playground and climbed the monkey bars, laying across the top as she began counting stars.

Once again night had fallen upon the city, allowing for a far different crowd than that seen during the day to once more roam the streets, alleys, and rooftops. Their kind danced in every club, chatted casually in every cafe, penetrating all of what was thought to be a society of just homo sapiens. Tonight, a usual made his way down the street. His bloodred cloak was replaced by a black leather jacket, accompanied by dark jeans and a black undershirt.
He did not travel by foot, instead riding upon a sleek kawasaki racing bike, of the samurai series. Travelling at speeds no human could possibly hope to keep under control, the lone rider raced through the somewhat empty streets, making his way to no destination in particular.
Finally, he did come to a stop, the wild ride having taken him to some random park. Moving the machine into a slow stop, he hopped off the bike and kept it running, the engine purring like a tamed wildcat. Sighing, he removed his helmet, jet black hair billowing out around him. On formal occaisions, he had it cut back, but lately he hadn't been to many of those. Looking around, he shrugged and flipped the switch to shut off the bike's engine.
"Wonder if there's anything interesting going on around here..."
Leaving his bike behind, the lone vampire made his way into the park. He passed by a mortal couple, the two obviously arguing about something. He didnt even give them a second glance, continuing onward. Suddenly, he paused, catching the scent of one of his kind, female, nearby. Sighing again, he shrugged, guessing that this one was probably just wandering like he was. Deciding to be a bit more social than usual, he made his way silently towards the source, making little, if any, sound. Finally reaching her, he was only somewhat impressed by her supernatural beauty. After all, once one saw a female vampire as a vampire themselves, the charm didn't work as well as it would on a mortal.
"Out for an evening stroll?"
His voice was soft, yet not exactly gentle. It carried a darkness which suggested that he wasn't exactly one to talk much to others in the first place. Still, she had to have caught a bit of his interest for him to even make such a decision. Who knew what went on in the mind of such a dark individual. At times, not even he knew.

A dark figure in all black had approached her. Giannine had smelled him once he had entered the park. He didn't seem overly friendly, but was handsome in his own right. Surprised at her thoughts, Gia frowned. The Charm of Vampires had lost its appeal to her, seeing as they were, for the most part, all supernaturally beautiful. She tilted her head to the side and scrutinized the male more carefully. Regarding his question, Gia replied thoughtfully,
"Simply bored. And you?"
Looking at the male more closely, Gia realized he was an animal drinker as well. Topaz eyes, slightly ringed with hunger. Long black hair flowed slightly in the breeze. The black undershirt he wore outlined his superhuman muscles, and Gia found herself slightly appreciating them.
What are you doing? she scolded herself for staring. He's no different than any of the other vampires you've ever met...no matter how handsome he is.

"Simply bored. And you?"
"Same as you I suppose. It is unfortunate that at times this city can be quite dull, despite all that goes on in it every night..."
He gave her a quick shrug of his well built shoulders. He easily caught her staring, smiling inside at such a fact. Was she just turned and was still becoming so caught up in a vampire's charming aura? He doubted that. Since he'd come to this city, which had been quite a few years ago, he'd tried to avoid contact with the rest of his kind for the most part. However, interaction was inevitable, and he could recall a few...interesting nights with a handful of female vampiresses, each experience seeming to lead them straight into the bedroom. Ah yes, lust. It came in many forms, and it wasn't just blood that was the object of desire. Temptation of the flesh seemed stronger in Vampires, and why not. After all, there was no chance of offspring, so what was wrong with a little fun every now and then. Vincent certainly wasn't above it, although he wasn't the kind to seek it out.
"Well as long as we are both bored, I suppose it would not be of any harm to ask you if you would like to accompany me to one of the clubs in this fair city of ours. By the way, my name is Vincent, nice to meet your acquaintance..."
Soft, subtle, leaving little for questioning. That was who he was, Vincent, the enigma.

Vincent.....it was a nice name. Gia nodded, a human habit she had yet to rid herself of, even after all these years. Joshua had always said it was better to keep those, good for blending in....but what good were they when she couldn't even go outside during the day?
Static seemed to building around them, and Gia moved a finger, sending it away. Vampiric lust, she supposed. Everything about a vampire was heightened.....their senses....their desires.....appearance and such. Of course, all vampires were impotent, so there was no danger there. Although Gia had never pursued such a relationship with Joshua, her mentor, there had been a few trysts with young male vampires in Volterra, and even one in Joshua's Russian community.
Wondering if she should play this mutual attraction to her advantage, Gia heard his next inquiry. She smiled, he didn't strike her as the overly social type, but here he was, inviting her to go clubbing. Still smiling she replied
"Giannine, and I would very much enjoy that. The city can be such a dull place sometimes. What did you have in mind?"
Short, mysterious, open-ended. Giannine loved to play.

Whether she agreed to go with him or not, the result mattered little to him. Vincent would be just as satisfied with calling it an early night. He'd already checked the underground for any interesting (sounding) jobs, but there was none. When she gave her response, he simply nodded, showing neither distaste nor pleasure at her answer. He could tell that something between them was already forming, but he brushed it off as just the usual vampiric lust, nothing special. Tilting his head to the side, he motioned in the direction where his bike had been parked.
"I know a club nearby, its not one of the more popular ones, but I prefer a smaller crowd anyways. My bike is parked just up ahead, you got a ride, Giannine?"
He afforded her a slight smile. It didn't last long, but it had been there nonetheless.

"I know a club nearby, its not one of the more popular ones, but I prefer a smaller crowd anyways. My bike is parked just up ahead, you got a ride, Giannine?"
Shaking her head, Gia said, "Afraid not, I was just out walking around." Although her clothes seemed to suggest she had been at a party of some kind, black leather boots laced up to her knee, plaid skirt reaching just above her knees, low-cut black tank top with a white open-button shirt over it. Nothing overly showy, simply clothes for going outdoors.
She looked over at his bike. Nice quality, no doubt for racing. At home, Gia had her own bike, but much preferred her Vanquish. Looking into Vincent's similarly topaz eyes, Gia could see him smile a little and offered her own, turning up the corners of her mouth a little. The vampiress stood up and walked over to Vincent.
"So what's the name of this club?" she asked.

He nodded at first in response to her initial response, almosth aving anticipated it. She would simply have to go with him he supposed, as the club wasnt exactly within walking distance. Her smile struck an unfamiliar chord within Vincent's being, giving him a feeling which was admittadly rather pleasant. As she walked with him back to his ride, he heard her question. Fetching her a spare helmet from a bag attached to the bike, he simply looked at her and gave her the answer.
"Desire. Its called Desire. Now then, lets get going."
Moments later they were racing through the streets. He paid little to no attention to the feeling of her graceful hands grasping firmly onto his covered abs, knowing it was just her trying to stay on the speeding bike. It took them a matter of minutes to reach the club. Getting off, Vincent removed his helmet and looked ahead.
"There it is, Desire."
It wasnt anything fancy, just your standard run-of-the-mill club. Walking up, Vincent simply gave a nod to the mortal bouncer, who actually took a step backwards as they walked past him. The music was already blasting. It was a techno remix of a classical piece, Mozart no less. Vincent removed his jacket and hung it upon a nearby rack, then with Giannine accompanying him, he made his way onto the dance floor. The music was too loud for words, but his expression said it all as he offered his hand. It said, "Would you care to dance, my dear?" And that was that.

The ride had been nice, Vincent's bike racing towards the club. Gia had spent the ride enjoying the adrenaline rush....or venom rush, whatever you called it. His bike was quite capable, she had to admit. Nice and fast, just like how all vampires liked it.
Desire was a rather cozy club, just enough people inside. The bouncer at the door had seemed staggered by the appearance of the superhuman pair, and Gia mentally gave him a pat on the back. Good. He knew to stay away. Inside, the club was nice and cool, perfect temperature for humans to dance in. Scents from all the people inside mixed together, creating an aroma that was not exactly pleasant, but not disgusting either. It was merely...interesting.
Mozart's remixed piece was all around her as she walked onto the dance floor with Vincent, who held out his hand and looked at her, silently offering a dance. Nodding slightly, Gia took his hand and began swaying to the music. The touch of his fingers caused a little shock to go through her, and although she kept her expression constant, inside she was intrigued.

Their dance was harmless enough at first, their timing seeming to find the calmest part of the music. He obviously had experience dancing to classical music, after all he'd been around when it was first created. Swaying back and forth, his hand clasped hers in order to keep them connected at all times. Wherever he moved, she followed, and vice versa. It was elegant, refined, and graceful, that is, until the calm part of the song ended.
Once the music began to pick up, as though both of them knew the song by heart, they began moving faster, their feet blurs upon the dancefloor. Spinning her about like a skirted ballerina, Vincent then drew her close, his free hand moving to her waist, moving them together up and down the dancefloor, his eyes making direct contact with hers. He gave another small smile, acknowledging her dancing skills, before he twirled her away again, only to bring her back once more. Closer now than ever they danced, their bodies brushing up in a rather personal manner. It was rather interesting, two complete strangers dancing together as though they had been doing it for years. Vincent had to admit, this was the most 'fun' he'd had all night, it certainly beat the boredom of wandering about the city aimlessly.

Gia was enjoying herself much more than she had on the swing, or on the bike. Dancing came with its own kind of special energy, one that made Gia feel amazing. As Vincent twirled away again, she closed her eyes to feel the energy in the room, soaking it in. When she was pulled back again, her eyes connected with Vincent's. She smiled in response to his before being twirled and pulled back again, this time even closer. Raising an eyebrow, Gia challenged him with her eyes. Something prompted her to move closer, the brushing up becoming full on contact as the song continued.
Vaguely wondering how they were even dancing in their position, the song suddenly changed, the tempo picking up as the pair continued dancing.

He noticed just how close they were getting, but paid it no mind, actually enjoying it. After some time, he closed his eyes, focusing on the contours of Giannine's curvy form, his feet moving just as gracefully despite his lack of sight. Their bodies were getting plenty of contact, brushing up quite often. Her soft skin continually rubbed against his rock hard chest, sending admitted tingles across his body. His hands moved shamelessly along her sides, touching the material of her skirt, making the moment even more heated than it already was. The beat to the current song was fast and powerful, making the lust be all the more tempting to give into.
He was enjoying himself. Still, this wasn't a habit of his. He did not go strolling off into the night with every gorgeous individual he met. This was just a break from his usual way of unlife. A vacation of sorts, with all the pleasures one could ask for.
(sorry its short >_<)

(mine will be similar =\ )
Despite having icy cold skin, Gia could feel heat coursing throughout her body, a buzzing sensation present beneath the surface. It was different, much better than the infamous cold feeling that wasn't really felt. Running her hands across Vincent's chest, she moved her hips in time with the fast beat, closing her eyes and swaying her head as well, feet keeping up all the way. She could sense the electricity in the air, and made sure she didn't let loose her power. Oh, the embarrassment. Already a few sparks had escaped her grasp, shocking her every time she touched Vincent. Unless....
It was different, answering the cry of human desires that had died long ago. Gia didn't normally do this, but occasionally there was just a time for release of any and every kind.

Closer and closer the contact became. As time passed and the beat became more and more intense, two strangers began to get to know one another, especially learning about one another's physical makeup. Vincent's hands trailed unrelented against Giannine's body, feeling every curve, every portion of her flawless form. Occaisionally, he could swear that he felt a few electrical shocks running through him. He just brushed it off as lingering sensations of enjoyment. Again, he could not deny that this was a good time. Sure, it wasn't anything like the thrill of facing death, but he certainly wasn't complaining.
Giannine had captured Vincent's interest for the evening. She impressed him with her grace, which appeared superb even for a vampire. He sensed no trickery from her, nor any sort of aura which would suggest she did this sort of thing often. Vincent suddenly caught himself thinking more about her than he usually did about a stranger. It would seem that with the changing times, Vincent himself was changing, into a more social creature. Wheras before his trusty weapons were his only friends, now it seemed he was making much more...lively friends. Giannine's sounds of pleasure she released every so often seemed to draw him further and further into the lust of the evening. He smiled to himself and whispered in her ear.
"I can't say I'm not enjoying myself. It is quite good fortune to have run into you this evening..."
From there, the dance only became more intense, Vincent's hands becoming more and more bold, simply due to the fact that she seemed to be guiding him, both Vincent and Giannine playing their own game, yet each having the same goal in mind...

Entranced by the song, Giannine relished the feeling of Vincent's hands memorizing her curves, and traced her own fingers along his well defined body, leaving no inch untouched. Despite having nearly 300 years of practice, a few sparks were let loose much to Giannine 's dismay, and she could see that Vincent had noticed them, but didn't seem to care much. There was something about this man....the word guy didn't suffice, just man....he certainly was different.
Vincent was an interesting vampire, to be sure. Although he had the grace, it seemed lined with a dangerous edge, the kind that was seductively appealing. And yet, he didn't use it to his advantage, as a bargaining tool or in persuasion. He merely did what he pleased when it pleased him. That caught Giannine's attention more than anything else. She too had noticed the changes in mood over the city of Volterra, and they had affected her as well, instilling a slight feeling of nostalgia that had led her to the park, and a feeling of daring that had led her to this club with this man, and into their current position. Sighing a bit every now and then, Giannine felt Vincent lean over and whisper into her ear, his voice amused and interested, laced with something else.
As the dance picked up its pace, so did the pair, until it seemed they were in a different sort of time altogether, the other dancers in slow motion. Leaning a little closer to Vincent as his hands continued to roam her body, Giannine brushed her lips against his ear as she whispered,
"The feeling is mutual."
